Why Jermaine Jackson Opposes a Memorial Concert for His Brother

A memorial concert for Michael Jackson will be held on October 8 at the 75,000-seat Millennium Stadium in Wales, supported by his mother Katherine and several of his sisters and brothers, and organized by Global Live Events. Jermaine, Randy, and Janet Jackson have opposed it because the concert coincides with the court hearings for Conrad Murray, who is accused of murdering their brother. Thirty-five Michael fan communities also expressed their opposition to the concerts for the same reason, and also because of the invitation to the group KISS, in an open letter. The singer of this group, Gene Simmons, had insulted Michael.
