Police Storms Neverland Again

At 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, police, holding a search warrant, once again stormed Neverland.

At the time of the raid, Michael was reportedly at Neverland with at least 60 police officers and specialized agents, along with his children. However, it has been said that before the police arrived, he intended to leave the house.

It is said that the officers had gone to Neverland to collect samples of Michael Jackson’s saliva in order to conduct a DNA test. It has been scheduled to take place tomorrow.

The officers also took photographs inside the rooms of Michael’s residence for presentation in court.

In this type of criminal case, requesting that such a test be performed on the defendant is fairly common, but it is usually done through the filing of an indictment in court—not by using a search warrant issued by the court.

Professor Larry N. Lawson, a university professor and legal expert, believes that this development will allow Michael Jackson’s defense attorneys to push back the court date for the charges against Michael—alleging sexual abuse of a 13-year-old boy—scheduled for the last day of January 2005.

Michael’s home was also raided by Santa Barbara police on November 14, 2003.

In December 2003, Michael Jackson was accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy. At his hearing, he pleaded not guilty.

So far, Michael Jackson’s defense team has not commented on the recent police raid of Neverland.
