Defense lawyers are trying to invite jury members to Norland

Michael Jackson’s defense team is trying to invite jury members to visit Norland. With this, the lawyers want to show that Michael built Norland to entertain the children—not to trap them. They also intend to demonstrate that Michael is a benefactor and supporter of the children. The defense lawyers also plan to launch attacks against Jackson’s 13-year-old accuser, who claims to be a victim. They intend to call witnesses to testify that the accuser and his brother were "guests from hell" and stayed at Norland of their own will. The witnesses will testify that when Jackson was not present at Norland, they saw the boys watching obscene magazines. They will also testify that they saw the boys enter a basement room where bottles of alcohol were kept. This testimony will make clear why the boys’ fingerprints were found on the alcohol bottles.
