Hayvenhurst won’t be sold
The Michael Jackson Foundation says Katherine has changed her mind about selling the house that has been the family’s base for more than 40 years, where Michael grew up.
On Wednesday, during the court hearing regarding the request to sell the property, the Foundation’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, said that Katherine Jackson no longer intends to sell that house, but wants to buy the home where she has been living for the past few months with Michael’s three children.
The court approved the request, and the Michael Jackson Foundation will purchase the home located in the affluent area of Calabasas, which is currently where Katherine and the kids live.
Hayvenhurst will remain, but Katherine and Michael’s children will not live there. This house will also be owned by the Michael Jackson Foundation.
