A Collective Effort to Stop the Media From Using the Word Jacko
In this page, you read that a campaign has been launched to stop the media from using the word Jacko instead of Jackson. The project was started by our friends at mjjjusticeproject, and now the group mjandjustice۴some is helping them form an alliance among fans. They have asked fan websites and blogs around the world to join them in this effort. They also have other projects in hand, which we will share with you in the future.
In the past few days, mjjjusticeproject asked us via Twitter to provide the eMJey.com website logo so that, in an open letter to be published to the media, it can be used alongside the logos of other websites as a signature for Iranian fans.
In addition, an online letter has also been written and fans have been asked to sign it.
How to sign the open letter from fans to the media?
1. Go to this page.
2. On the right side, there is a form titled Sign Petition that you must fill out according to the sample (photo below).
3. In the email, address, and postal code sections, you don’t need to enter correct information. Since if you leave those sections blank your form won’t be accepted, you can enter a few letters and numbers in those fields.
** Don’t forget: if your friends can’t sign this form because they don’t have internet access or are busy, you can do it on their behalf. Just make sure to clear the cookies from your browser beforehand.
4. Then click the orange button Sign Now so your vote is counted.
