Gary Holds a Birthday Celebration for Michael Jackson

Gary, in the U.S. state of Indiana—where the King of Pop was born 53 years ago—has a special event planned for its beloved son this weekend.

Michael turns 53 on Monday, August 29, and Gary has named this weekend (from Friday to Monday) “The Legend Weekend: Celebrating the Memory of M.J. Jackson.” As is customary, the Jackson family home at 2300 Jackson Street will be the gathering place for fans. Special events will also include music and a circus at the Leonard Douglas Stadium at Roosevelt High School. Ticket prices for the stadium event are $23, and 20% of the profits will be donated to the city government to cover city expenses.
