Is the Prosecutor’s Team Falling Apart?
Members of the Santa Barbara court jury, like all of us, are confused by the recent police raid on Neverland. And this could indicate changes within the prosecutor’s team.
Prosecutor Geraland Franklin, speaking to Celebrity Justice outside the office of Tom Sneddon, said that orders to keep information confidential prevent him from discussing the details.
It seems that a rift has formed within the prosecutor’s team. One group of members believes they are ready to hold the trial on January 31, 2005. While another group believes that the recent raid on Neverland shows they need more time.
Sources report that Michael’s lawyers may not request that the court session be postponed because they feel Tom Sneddon is not prepared for the trial.
It is expected that Jackson’s defense team will have many questions to ask the accuser’s mother—such as questions about the improper use of money collected at a charity event in a store. This money was given to her to help her son, who has cancer, but it ended up being used for personal expenses.
