Michael Could Not Appear in Court
Yesterday, Michael was unable to attend court because of a spider bite on his foot. This prompted Louis Miller, the lawyer for Marcel Avram, to object in court. He pointed out that this was the third time Jackson had not come to court or had had delays in his appearance. However, the judge said he knew the reason for Michael’s absence, and in fact it was the judge himself who suggested that Michael be put under medical tests and care. Then Michael’s lawyer added that today would have been the sixth day of Michael’s presence in court, which shows that he is not afraid of this court.
In Michael’s absence, his former security chief appeared as a witness in court and answered questions. He said that, after retiring in September 2001, he had been present on October 6 or 7 at a meeting where Marcel Avram announced that the millennium concerts were postponed. He emphasized that these concerts were not canceled by anyone; rather, they were supposed to decide on the timing of when they would take place.
