for an interview in Bordercrossings and will talk about Urethra's new Christmas album.And on the boxing day

NELSON MANDELA'S B'THDAY.

Yesterday the 18th of July was Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday.And Bordercrossings wished him happy
birthday.

program today, host Larry London played some patriotic music, 'it is your land' & the Canadian singer
Celine Dion's 'God Bless America' etc.People all over America & all Americans are celebrating the day

Madonna's Adoption of A Boy.

Madonna has adopted a 2 & half year old Malawian boy, David Banda whose mother died when he was
one month old & his father left him in an orphanage since he himself could not take care of him without
the boy's mother & whom Madonna met in the orphanage & decided to adopt him & brought him to
London in order to bring him up there, which Larry London had been saying during the program 'Bord-
ercrossings' in the past week.

Bordercrossings today,wednesday,21st March,'08 played a song on VOA, 'Power of Love' sung by the
Canadian singer Celine Dion.But she was not the original singer of this piece of music.It was first sung
by & the original singer was Jennifer Rush of Germany in 1983,at the time Celine Dion was nowhere
in picture & arrived much later & came into notice & became famous by singing the 'Titanic' song 'my
heart will go on" in the year 1999.Jennifer Rush was a little known German singer & became famous
only for this song in the mid 80s & early 90s after the realese of only this song in an album which had
other songs, 'Destiny','Live Wire','Into My Dreams','Automatic','Hero of A Fool','Ring of Ice','Nobody M-
ove','If You're Ever Gonna Loose My Love','The Right Time Has Come Now'. The album was arranged
& produced by Gunther Mende & Candy De Rouge, recorded by CBS & was available by Epic Records.
It became an instant hit after it's release & during that period was played on radio stations worldover a-
ll the time & this album was sold in large numbers at the time.Some people would still like to listen to th-
is song sung by Jennifer Rush in her deep voice with more instruments.

Larry London presented the show on tuesday.He played music including Britney Spears'Sometimes,Michael Jackson's Heal the world,Elton John's Candle in the wind,Mark Collin's Walking in Memphis,R Kelly's Just like that.Michael Jackson's personal belongings his black cap,white gloves,shoes etc. are going to be auctioned at an auction show at Las Vegas on 13May this year.Britney Spears is going to get a divorce soon.

Larry London was absent yesterday tuesday to present the show.His place was taken by Doug Levine who presented Bordercrossings.He played some music by Celine Dion,Rod Stewart,Richard Marx,Michael Jackson,Eric Clapton etc.Rod Stewart is going to get married for the 3rd time this year in November.Eric Clapton ended his 11 month long world tour last friday.
